Please consider the towed Hiniker 5710 flail shredder also.
It has a 6 foot cut and a constant velocity universal joint to
allow tight turns while mowing and an overrunning clutch.

That looks really well built, but I was wanting something in the 7 to 9 foot range. To bad they don’t make a wider model.

I'll toss this one out there.

I have the 78" Betstco HD (Farmer Helper) flail mower with hammers. It's a heavy piece of equipment and has done a great job mowing pastures this summer. Any small branches that fall around the edges, it chops them up. For the price, it's been fantastic. Fairly easy to adjust. Sits slightly offset. Im pretty meticulous about the maintenance. I retighten the belts and grease it before every mowing session (5 hours). They are worth checking out if you don't mind a cheaper Chinese mower.
