Good Evening Frits,

Frits, just wondering how you go about cleaning your mini split ? I have the Fujitsu unit in the Ct home ! All I have been doing is cleaning the filters by washing them and then allow to dry ! Do you use cleaner spray for the coils and blower wheel ? And if so do you use one of those bags to catch whatever comes through the unit ?

Thanks for your input ! 🙏
Good question. I watched the tech do it and take the panels off and unscrew the ends that holds the bearings for the blower wheel and then reach in with a screw driver to loosen the screw on the blower that connects to the motor shaft. Then the wheel can slide out very carefully and be cleaned with a water hose and soap and brushed. The evaporator is sprayed with soap and water and vacuumed up by Milwaukee cordless shop vac. Panels are clipped together and have to be careful not to break the plastic tabs

Well, I got the grass cut, all of it. But that is all I did today. Took all of 1.5 hours. Chucked a gallon of fuel into the mower before I cut the back, so it is probably down about 1/2 gallon now. While I was cutting the grass I saw a whole bunch of baby toads about the size of a dime.
I also saw a baby praying mantis, it bit my leg and promptly got flying lessons. I don't like doing that but I also don't like getting bit.

The e-trike won't get here for at least three weeks.
The main reason I am looking at a solar charger for it is so I can recharge my battery while I am riding. That should give me longer range. If that wont work then at least I can recharge the battery while I am parked at home.
I checked out the garage I keep the z-turn in and with a little rearranging I can get the z-turn and two trickes in there. Junior has the manual one.

good morning all
nice cool morning, 60,last of cool mornings, seems another heat wave due in

up too early, but enjoying my coffee and planning the day.
first I have to go retrieve the tomatoes from Ken's front door, so the critters don't get them, then off to pick
up cheesesteaks from Jersey Mikes to take to lunch with friends, and hopefully get a dip in their pool after lunch.

Mostly, is that a pic of your home? very nice

Buppies, sorry you got ripped off. I don't lock the compartments of my rv and I wonder if some night my tool
compartment will get pilfered, but so far so good.

I actually beat Ron, that's unusual...good morning Ron!

Coffee mug is full of coffee. 56° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 87° with partly cloudy skies. Spent time hunting down a Groundhogs home. Found it and cleared the area of all the vines that were hiding its hole. Did some garden weeding. Then got mowing tractor out and cut around the edges of field. It is growing back fast after being cut. Did not get Backhoe off tractor. Neighbor is sick with a cold. Then back on porch for some relaxing. Going to a picnic this afternoon.
Bath time.

Prayers and best wish for everyone.

Good Morning All.

very embarrassing situation for Toyota out on the street now, having to admit their brand new top of the line
twin turbo six engine, their engine of the future, was so flawed in the build they had to totally replace over 100,000 engines.
Not fix them, replace them. Appears they didn't clean the engine well enough and contaminants have already ruined 900+ engines.
Guy who just spent 90 grand on his Lexus suv is not going to be happy, though pretty sure loaners will be given.
just a black eye for QC at that plant, which I'm sure is here in the US.

I remember buying a new Olds Bravada suv, with an early version of awd, and it kept burning up awd clutch packs.
Three times it went in and I threatened them they would have to keep the car permanently if they didn't fix it.
It took two weeks in the shop, but they found a big blob of black adhesive stuck on end of oil pick up tube, I believe in the transfer case.
(I didn't think transfer cases had pickup tubes...) so maybe just plugging some orifice.
oil starvation would fry the clutch packs after a few thousand miles and chattering started.
got the gunk out, all fixed.
Toyota apparently did not get the gunk out.

Drew, my post was at normal time I post. No clock to get me up. Just how it is. My whole family complains about early to bed and early to rise. They also complain about not getting the recommended 8 hours of sleep. All my cousins are still around. They are in there 80’s and 70’s without major health issues. I quit worrying about what Dr’s call lack of sleep.
