good morning all
appears to be cloudy and showers this morning, nothing worthwhile, but should be a little cooler.
I think five truckloads of pine needles would wear any of us out...
it was hard work getting that stuff off my lawn in NC. Plus the needles would dull the mower blades.
some folks actually collected it and sold it for mulch. Or used it as mulch themselves.
Bill, take it slow. How are you feeling? Are you back to "before"?
my only task for today is visiting local water treatment store, see if he will sell me the same acid neutralizer I can get
online, parts only. I'd rather give the business locally, but of course he suggested a six thousand dollar system.
I only want his 1100 dollar parts...
I've been slightly ingesting copper now for three years living here due to acidic water leaching the copper pipes.
My existing filtration system is simply undersized for PH control, so I'm going about ten times larger, from 20 pounds of calcite to
over 200. Will leave sediment and charcoal filters in place.
water here is not good, acidic and hard. Cheesy jet well pump stirs up all the sediment and and I've got orange water coming in.
It all filters out but a nuisance. At least I got landlord to agree to pay for the new commercial filter.
Popgadget in his usual kind manner has offered to help me hook it up, should not be difficult but I'm no PEXer.
speaking of him, hope Popgadget feels better this morning.
End of July. Where did the summer go...
I want to know what Dennis is going to do with all those yummy cantaloupes. They don't store well so I'm guessing he is giving them
away like I do with my tomatoes. Time to find some kids and have a melon party on a hot day.
