How we doing there Buppies's? I'm finally getting 10 days life cycle out of mine so DEXcom must have improved the formula.

Any of the members using Tandem? They released a new site called Tandem Source. While I hate change it showed a lot of information and wasn't bad once learned. Just recently when I click on it it just goes to a blank screen. Wanted to blame my old computer but on a much much newer system no change. I can still log into the old platform(t:connect). Within Tandem it shows that all systems operating correctly. No place to email questions that I have found. Just curious if anybody else experiencing same issues.

Its the length of time the sensor in your skin will, or suppose to last. Does that make sense? You need to change them every 10 days.

Dexcom G7 sensors last ten days, and then give you a twelve-hour grace period before they shut down. It is programmed in and based on most insurance covering thirty-day supply increments.

The old G5 and G6, sensors lasted seven days, (but you could trick them into restarting). The seven-day increment didn't work well with thirty-day prescriptions. Four sensors lasts 28-days, five sensors lasts 35 days. Similar issue with a 90-day prescription, 12 sensors lasts 84 days, and 13 sensors lasts 91-days. And most insurance would only cover thirty-days or less, or 90-days or less, and wouldn't let you refill until you had less than a one-week supply left.
