They read an article somewhere and have come here to inform us of how well informed they are and how poorly informed those who actually own and operate EVs are.

We are so stupid! We owe these people so much!
Good post, and I agree completely with your point. There's no reason for any of us ICE drivers to be really criticizing anyone else's choice of vehicle.

Don't like it? Don't drive it!

But a lot of this comes from a fear that the government will make the purchase of ICE's either difficult, expensive, or even impossible in the future. So, your next statement could be even more accurate if it read:

Is akin to dog owners telling cat owners what to do... [in a world where dogs are being outlawed by the government.]

I do think a ride or drive in ludicrous Tesla mode will surprise most people. I thought I knew quick cars but that had me saying d@?n!

Total off-topic, but I will fight, claw, and cut anyone off to avoid getting stuck behind a Wrangler or CJ. Slowest drivers on the road, period. It must be because they feel like they're doing 60 mph at 20 mph. Even worse than minivan drivers, it would seem.

And yes, I'm familiar with the SRT Wrangler, I've driven them. But they represent such a thin slice of all Wranglers on the road, they're hardly worth considering. Besides, they still handle like a flimsy canvas box on wheels.

Great off-road vehicles, I've even owned one, but perhaps the dumbest on-road vehicle ever made.

Not at all, I did very in thermodynamics.

An ICE is a heat engine, working a low temperature against a high temperature. The low temperature is just outside of the exhaust tip. Not at the intake, not at the radiator.
Wow you over complicate to twist things.....your point is moot when we just divert some heated coolant to the heater core to warm our cabin and windows, or defog in milder wet weather. Heat that otherwise would go to the atmosphere. But I am starting to realize this meme fits your limited perspective thinking best .

My CJ's and TJ's were slow. My JK and JL not slow in the least, perfectly capable of keeping up with all other traffic even from a stop. And with 4.5" of lift an 35" tires it handles and rides very well, probably better than most trucks do actually. But then, I probably have $10K in just the suspension on the JK.

You are the exception, among these canvas-topped tote boxes! :p

My siblings and I each had a Jeep back in the 1990’s, and they were fun, for everyone except the cars stuck behind us.

I’m not sure if a jeep owner should be so judgy about looks;)
That's a dude that takes home the 250+ lb chick at the bar because it's almost closing time and he hasn't scored.

They were absolute turds back then. The CJ's were crazy slow and it was a chore to keep them on the road driving straight. There definitely wasn't pleasure gained from road driving them for sure. I got my first Jeep (CJ7) in 1989 and have been hooked on them since.
