No, I've come to find the Y quite attractive. Originally it looked like a bulged 3 but now the shape works quite well.

But then I guess people get used to warts on their faces....or the bubble butt look these days.... I wouldn't.

I don't know the Y, never been in one, but I have a few friends and family members with P100D, P90D, and 3 models. One close cousin bought their 3 in 2017, despite the closest service center being some distance from their house, on the expectation that "it should never need service".

Let's just say, he has racked up a whole lot of miles and vacation days, spent at the Tesla service center, for various recalls, updates, and build error corrections. He still loves the car, it really is a nice car, but he hates the company. I also see Tesla owners posting about various build issues on their own car, in YouTube and Instagram.

So, when Tesla lands on the least reliable list, it doesn't feel like a big surprise. As a newer company with newer tech and models, I'd be almost surprised if they didn't land somewhere on the list. Likewise for other EV's, of course they're going to have more bugs than legacy models based on powerplants with billions of accumulated miles.

If the list comprised of 10+ yo Teslas then yes I would say there will be issues. New builds?
The list you posted was mostly all EV's. Common sense would tell you that EV's in general will be more reliable than almost any ICE.
Your hatred of EV's skews your opinion of them.
There is a reason the Tesla Y is the most sold car in the WORLD!

Common sense? But you have it backwards.

Common sense, and actual real-world experience will tell you that new car models always have more issues than models late in their generation. It's the very reason the last year of any generation vintage car is worth more than the first year of the same generation, and the last model year of any car is usually the most sought. Refinement and improvement comes with years in a model series.

You can argue with the source, but at least I posted a source. Find a reputable source that counters the data, if you really want to argue it.

Consumer reports also determined Tesla reliability down in the middle of the pack.
They use different criteria than JD power.

Yes it is a good thing they survive occasional fires, since you need oil wells, refineries and pipelines to make everything from your PV panels to your EV components starting at the asphalt to your tires and up to your roof liner…
And the computer or cellphone you’re typing reading/typing on now

Who said anything to the contrary? My point was the for some reason when an EV factory is on fire that is somehow different than anything else.
