55F. Clear. Calm. Second day of retirement. I actually had a dream that I was at a hotel, waking up to go to work. In my dream I actually realized I was dreaming, for the first time in a long time.
Making breakfast for the family and doing some beekeeping work on this cool Indiana day

Congratulations!
So what’s the next chapter? Going to keep flying? Or actually retire.

Actually retire. I'll probably fly some GA stuff for years, but not for hire.

I'm going to be focussing on the bee keeping operation (honey sales, nuc sales and Layens hives sales) and our burgeoning produce operation. Trying to take care of family too... Aging parents on both sides of the family. I'm only 47... So running my own business isn't out of the question... After some rest.

Good Morning,
Milford,Ct. 61 to start going to 78. Partly cloudy now increasing to all sun later.

He was making a valiant effort to eat more of the lettuce, Scott.
Paul, I always go into the restaurant with the intention of eating healthy, but that always doesn’t happen! 😉

Ron, was that a golden finch in this morning’s picture? Beautiful bird !

Our sons are still in bed, the kiddos and the DIL’s are here making breakfast for the kids.

Have some other family members coming over around noon, so it could get busy here !

Hope all enjoy their Labor Day , with no labor ! 😉

got the tanks pumped and used my new Camco hose supports.
Traditionally these supports are a slinky like thing that constantly comes apart and has to be fiddled with. This worked much better though does take up a little more storage room.

not only was the 30 amp receptacle bad here but the water spigot was so tight I had to put all my weight on it to close it. They will get dinged on their maintenance in my review.

nice Brinkley fifth wheel near me, Brinkley is current hot darling since they seem to have better QC standards. It's a black and white high style rig, and they appear to be showing up everywhere.

I put a small folding table in between the front bucket seats, topped it with
two layers of beach towels for the world's cushiest arm rest. Plus a place to lay out all my stuff including the Ipad I use for real time weather.

please note required tractor pillow..

Silly me, I had assumed that you hit the magic 65.
At 72, I’m still flying 135, but generally on my terms. .

The future could hold something else... We became debt free a decade ago, we have enough to sustain us until retirement, and then beyond... So it became a question of what will I sacrifice for material gains that I do not need? Then the answer became pretty clear.
My wife is working now, which she truly enjoys after a life of being a mom. Im enjoying my little farm more.

how many of you have been to Stonehenge in England?
well....we have one in the US, at Rolla Missouri where I make a turn.
Seems this is a project of physics dept of nearby college using laser jet tech on granite. Well, I've seen it, don't think I need to drive there.
