Had opportunity to run my LS this morning. Sadly only took about 5 minutes work and it went into limp mode. Sent text to tech but being a holiday I don’t expect a reply.

So now, officially back to piddling around.

I remember “retiring” about age 47, gosh 30 years ago. 🤪
I believe you have temp filter bypassing the whole fuel filter assembly, right?

Good (Tuesday) morning. Overnight Low of 3.4C and it's presently 17.1C, clear & calm.

Yesterday I tackled my woodheater 'maintenance' as I'd let the fire go out last Saturday. The bottom of the firebox hadn't been emptied in a few seasons and, Lord, did it need it! 3.5 buckets of near ash-concrete, some of which required a small crowbar to loosen. I 'wacked' the chimney a number of times to clear the creosote, but I don't think I got it all as I've got a blockage of some sort. <sigh>

Fortunately, it's now 'Spring' and warming up so the chimney isn't a priority.

Hopefully I'll 'get at' the flagpole repair today.

That's about it, take care all.

Have you got a porcupine? That is what I use to clean my wood stove chimneys.

good morning! 79 cloudy, heading to 80s, better chance of rain this afternoon.
tree company came out this morning gave estimate on trimming back 3 live oak trees from roof of house, gave them the ok and they will be out Friday weather permitting.

still off pain pills and will try to stay off them after a bout with constipation Saturday - glad that's over.
PT did not come out today texted last night she will be out tomorrow.
I have some major milestones coming up in coming weeks -
bandage comes off
no longer have to wear sling
post dr visit
start out patient PT
Oct 10 test limits
When my buddy had his shoulder done in Houston by a renowned sports surgeon, he had to keep his arm immobilized for 6 weeks in a sling that was belted to his torso. No movement. His whole shoulder area was black and blue and purple and green from the bruising. His shoulder is fine now 2-3 years later. I don't believe he had it "replaced", more like reconstructed?

If anyone likes precision military marching bands, here's one I'm fond of.

Our football team lost. Our QB had a miserable outing. No long bomb attempts. I'm ready to sideline him to let him practice with the B squad. We have some quality reserves.

Didn't do much today. Lots of puttering. Not near as hot outside. Having some critter sneak in the barn and tear up the cat food sack. Time for a trap.

West Texas is getting some good rains, they sure do need them. Lakes out there, are almost dried up. It would take a 100 year flood possibly to fill them all up.

We are looking into a wildlife tax exemption for our land, and I believe we can still cut the hay in the pastures. Hope to have the Texas Parks and Wildlife person come give us some recommendations. Have to pick 3 qualifying things to promote. Songbirds are 1 of them. Deer can be another. Bees can be another, but not sure I want that many hives of bees around here. They get aggressive and will attack. Squirrels and Rabbits count. We don't have any black bears as far as I know.

Pastor and church member killed a coral snake outside of church by the door yesterday morning. Church is in a rural setting.

Our town's 2 competitive gas stations have stopped competing on pricing. Gas has been 2.99/gal for some time now. I've seen it at 2.67 about 23 miles away in another town.

nice pictures y'all.

Prayers for our team, our nation, Ukraine and Israel.
