John Deere 5205 bucket won't tilt

If one spool and it's related lines work, the return system from valve to tractor is working. As I see it you narrowed it down to a problem between the work ports on the one spool and the tilt cylinders. Not much there other than hoses, fittings and couplers. If you swapped all that out and still have an issue with that circuit I guess it only leaves the valve. I rarely suspect valve failures in that regard because they almost never fail in that way. Odd things do happen.

How do I fix it?
Have you replaced both halves of both quick disconnects for the curl dump?

Is problem it won’t curl back or won’t dump?

Try feathering the control to move the bucket as slow as possible. Does it work now. If yes try slowly increasing movement speed. If suddenly stops moving this also points towards a failing quick disconnect.

the pronlem is the bucket won't dump or curl, itthe boom goes up and down. when I sway the hoses the boom will not go up and down but the bucket will dum and curl.

When I take out the coupler from the scv I can see the valve move with the joystick, so I have a hard time believing it is the valve. Larry

Just something to think about. I know you said you swapped hoses, but have you taken all four of the connections loose and reconnected them?

I had this exact same thing happen, couldn't figure it out because everything looked like it was connected OK. Then, when I looked closer, I could see that on one fitting, the collar had been "tripped". It was just loose enough to let the check ball cut the supply, but was still on the fitting. I took it all the way off, then reconnected it and it worked.

I determined that I had brushed the fitting up against a stick and it was just enough to move the collar.

I have removed and reconnected the hoses several times, trying to get a solution. Now the rear hydralic wont release the pressure so the mower stays raised. Any ideas?
