Largest tractor with a belly mower.

What’s the largest TYM OR Brandon tractor that will take a belly mower? Something with a loader and 3 point hitch too.

Just for reference my JD 4320 with 48 engine HP and 40 PTO HP has a 72 inch belly mower. Now I understand that all of the 20 series at that time offered the belly mowers and I think the 4520 @ 55 HP? and the 4720 @ I think 59 HP? offered that. Now this is the 2006 time frame that I am referencing. The JD rep told me they did sell very well and they discontinued that option.

Mid mount mowers are awful for anything other than mowing green lawn. If you mow dry field grass with them, the chaff and dust will choke both the operator and radiator, causing overheating. And they aren’t fun to remove every time you want to do tractor work with them. Then reinstall for mowing.

We bought an old farmhouse and 45 acres. About 30 is hay field which I plan to lease to the farmer neighbor indefinitely. But we have about 13 acres of mature woods and about 2 acres of lawn.

I’d love something big enough to haul and lift brush and logs. And mow my lawn. The problem with a 3 point mower is how long it makes the entire unit.

I saw a guy down the road with a decent sized new Holland, with a belly mower. That’s why I asked. I always wanted a TYM bc of the lack of emissions and cost

I had an old flail mower once. Never again! Thing was broken more than it ever mowed

Kioti builds the CK2610 in Bobcat white as a CT2025 and it's available with a belly mower. That's one of the largest machines I can think of with a mid-mount mower. Oddly enough, while the Kioti CK series is available with a mid-PTO the only option Kioti sells for it is a snowblower.

I know it's not a TYM, but it's as large a machine as I can think of with a mid-mount mower.

The only downside to the Bobcat machines is that they're equipped with their own loaders and backhoes, and the FL7 loader can't compare to the Kioti KL4030.

Take the loader out and use the 3 pt finish mower. These tractors are very maneuverable. You would amazed the tight places I've used my tractor, it's equivalent to the Branson/TYM 3515R.

I find more often that length is a benefit because you can back up and cut under low hanging branches and other things that you couldn’t drive the machine over.

It's just a hair smaller than the 15 series. The T25 is a great machine, but it's Kioti equivalent would be the CX2510.

So I had to look into it, the current 4 series no longer offers a mid-mount mower, but the 3 series does.

I have watched someone mow lawn/yard with a JD 2038R & 60" deck and to me it doesn't look like a very efficient way to mow grass!
