Moving wood around to cut up into firewood. Hit a milestone while doing it. Had no idea when I bought this Kioti that I’d put as many hours on it as I have in just over a year.

Does this count, have been working it over since June.
Three hour drive with the wife yesterday.
Yes, it definitely counts. Is that 1967? One of my Top 5 to own and never had.

Nice split window coupe. Very nice indeed.

That looks great! What implement did you use?
Thanks! I do take pride in my work, and I really wanted to make sure my friends mother was happy.

Land Plane to lift the vegetation and Tine rake to separate the sod from the gravel. I was able to relocate the dunnage behind the fence.
Once the vegetation has been removed, the land plane finishes the job. Sometimes I'll use a chain harrow to smoothen out areas or compress with the tires.
The land plane and tine rake combination has been my go to lately, but I have reconfigured to the box blade at times when I need to relocate a good volume of gravel to another area.

I'm still on the job doing some work for a customer friend, yesterday my nephew and me, split a LOT of wood for him, we also helped him put a bridge over a creek.

We had to snake some long heavy I-beams back through the woods and here's how I did it,

It was a long day but at least we got a lot done.

Used the tractor as a work platform to build a "Mouser Motel".

We have a few hard working mousers who happen to be feral. Since they keep the local mice population well under control, the least I can do is keep 'em warm and dry in the winter as payback.

I bought (4) black totes at $10 each from HD. Lined an IBC tote with 2 inches of rigid foam, plus some straw for added insulation. It's anchored to a pallet for easy moving and to keep it upright.

Everything other than the four totes was re-use of material on hand, including the 2 inch foam board and the IBC liner left over from making firewood storage bins.

Now to find out if they'll use it?!
