I want some right now.By accident, we learned that children, grandchildren and great grandchildren love pig pancakes. That is, pancakes shaped into the face of a pig. Great hit and keeps them occupied during the holidays. YMMV.

You should, at least, have bacon strips for the ears.By accident, we learned that children, grandchildren and great grandchildren love pig pancakes. That is, pancakes shaped into the face of a pig. Great hit and keeps them occupied during the holidays. YMMV.

Our local grocery store carries it, but you can also get it at Amazon. About $5/box when you buy in lots of 4 or more, but you can buy a single to try under $10.Where did you find it?
I grew up almost in the shadow of those New Hope Mills, but it's been a playhouse since 1939. I just saw White Christmas there, last December. If I recall, that pancake mix is made in New York, nowhere near New Hope, but that doesn't mean it's bad! I remember buying it on a few occasions.View attachment 1925112
...at a local Amish shop and they are terrific pancakes. No bad ingredients that I can spot. I also bought a buckwheat mix and will try that next.
We have used this in the past it was excellent. They also make, or made, a wide range of grain and mix products.Lucky kids! I may have to try that one.
I remember my father would make our pancakes into different shapes, upon request. Some of our requests came out better than others, but he did his best.
We switched over to Lund's Swedish pancakes about the time my son was born, and now the whole family is addicted to them, so that's our regular weekend treat. Excellent, if you've never tried them, cooked in butter on a relatively hot iron skillet, 60 seconds per side.
