Eddie, I was in the woods running my hounds about 1&1/2 hours away from my home and Saturday morning about 10:00 AM I started feeling a tingling or numbness in my left arm and hand but really didn't think that much about it I just figured I had jumped off the dog box wrong and maybe pinched a nerve or something in my back or neck but by around 3:00 PM my lips and left side of my face were going numb, so I headed home and unloaded the dogs and was headed to the emergency room when my oldest son came up and said I was slurring my speech so he drove me to the ER and within a few minutes of me being there they rushed me into trauma and did an CT scan and determined I had a small brain bleed and that I had had a mild stroke, so I was admitted into the hospital and they did a multitude of tests on me Sunday and Monday. They saw that I was very stable and had no paralysis so they let me come home last night and are awaiting the test results to try and figure out why it happened, so we will see. To anyone reading this don't do like I did and postpone going to the hospital, as they said if I would have got there within 4 hours of the onset of the stroke that they could have given me medicine to stop it, but I am very fortunate that it wasn't/isn't any worse than it was, even in my trials on this earth the Lord is with me and I am thankful. Hope everybody has a good week. Charlie.
