Sorry. Nothing to say.
Just saw idiot and felt spoken to.
It's hard to kick old habits after divorce.

Its not my neighborhood only, its all across rural America and Canada. Do not ignore the facts out there. Read up on these issues and become aware. You could save young lives.I have to admit I've kind of gotten to like the "always on" dash lights. GM vehicles at least have an indicator that shows if the headlights are on.
When my wife drove my previous truck she'd sometimes forget to turn on the headlights until it got almost dark, she was used to her car with auto headlights.
GM vehicles have had auto headlights (at least as an option) for 30-odd years. My old '95 Beretta had them.
On some automotive forums you still see rants from people who for some reason hate DRLs, so you can't please everyone.
That's why I STOPPED riding motorcycles back in the 80s. Too many drivers who were oblivious to them.
I had to dump one time because someone who was parked on the side of the road pulled out & did a U turn maybe 50 yards in front of me (with me going 55 or so).
???
Never heard of that. Glad I don't live in your neighborhood.
I can't be the only one who has trouble decyphering some of those cryptic symbols that replace lettering these days. I get that they want to standardize, but that seems to be an odd place to start when there's little standardization to the placement/operation of controls on vehicles.Another "Must" on newer GM Trucks, the Passenger Air Bag light is a Picture with a Line through it in Canada, US Regulations states it has to be Words (Passenger Air Bag Off) so we have to change the Lens
Or people that drive black vehicles with no lights as well. Never owned a black vehicle and don't plan on it either. If I did, living on a dirt road, I'd be washing it more than using it.Driving home this evening I pulled out too close for comfort in front of an SUV that was going about 50 MPH. The driver honked at me. I didn't see the SUV until I was already pulling out onto the road. It was late dusk, almost night time dark, the SUV was black, and had no lights on. Not even daytime driving lights. It was totally dark. How the hell was I supposed to see the vehicle? I coulda been T-boned. The only vehicle I could see on the road was way far away and I could only make out its lights so I thought I was safe. So the IDIOT driving the black SUV with no lights on honks at me because I pulled out too close. If I could have seen the vehicle I wouldn't have pulled out. What is wrong with people that drive with no lights at dusk? GRRR.
Eric
I see it all the time, and it never makes sense to me either ! I feel your frustration but until the police crack down on it, it probably won’t change anytime soon !What is wrong with people that drive with no lights at dusk? GRRR.
I can argue the same about white vehicles in fog or snow. I was driving in near white-out conditions a few years ago when a propane delivery truck suddenly appeared out of the snow... no headlights so a black vehicle would have been easier to see.Or people that drive black vehicles with no lights as well. Never owned a black vehicle and don't plan on it either. If I did, living on a dirt road, I'd be washing it more than using it.
I really dislike the new LED headlights at night, they are blinding.
I just don't understand why people have no common sense of the term RIGHT OF WAY.I had the right of way as I emerged from an underpass. Someone on a nearby side street pulled out in front of me but managed to get stopped in time once she saw me. We were about eye to eye. Then she honked at me and gave me the evil eye.
Who arrived and stop first ? If i was on the right and stopped first then I'm going first..I just don't understand why people have no common sense of the term RIGHT OF WAY.
The meaning should be drilled into everyone. I had a guy cut me off, he got out mad, saying he was the next person at the 4-way stop, not me. I asked him if there was such a thing as a LEFT OF WAY right for any driver? He was making a left while I was making a right down the road.
