Light wind, snow or winter mix fell all day, and high temp was 32ºF. made coffee to start day, groomed ashes, stoke fire, made Malt-o-Meal for breakfast. did laundry, cleaned up packaging from splitter, used it to make kindling, faster than old one, watched recorded movie napped, and conserved energy. Check snow depth about 1P, 3 1/2 inch. Forecast for 6-9 total for my area.

Drew not sure what you mean by "colder time locally". My wife took pics of the Tanana River in Fairbanks AK, that was some rough ice! She was raining to man Flight Service Stations in Kotzebue and Nome AK. in May. The ice started breaking up before she finished training. Alaska has same issues with the spring ice break up.
