and for all of you who have owned rvs.
this is the sales figures for industry last year.
Very revealing that only companies increasing business are those that are known for
leading in quality of build. Consumers are really tired of poorly built, and particularly poorly plumbed rv's.

these negative numbers have to be considered in light of unusually high sales during covid, huge number of units out there so no surprise
things have slowed down. big numbers too.

Good morning TBN!!
15 this morning and supposed to be pushing 50 under partly clouds this afternoon.

Correlation between the cold and the walks are quite evident. Lots of dog walking in the afternoon. :)
Puttered and walked yesterday. Probably more of the same today except dump run and errands.

Bring on spring!
Everyone have a great and safe day!!

Good morning, the low is 12 and going to a high of 27°F. Wind SSE 9 mph. Flurries today and tonight.
Block heater is turned on. I'll probably go out and plow this afternoon, maybe. Depends on how much comes down.

I got a call from the accounts receive-able lady at the fuel oil supplier yesterday. I guess she had a heart attack when she saw the $925.oo payment on a $200.oo positive account. I told her that since the bank doesn't pay any interest that they might as well have the money, that way when I order fuel I wont be owing them any money. I hate being behind the 8 ball and robbing Peter to pay Paul. With any kind of luck and a decent income tax rebate (should be a good one) they will be getting 3 or 4 thousand.

Speaking of space station, back in my partying days I was called a space cadet many times. I am kinda glad those day are behind me now.

Already got my goobers into me, so it is time for breakfast before they rot my guts out.

Have a safe day all

good morning, 13 to start with making it above freezing this afternoon yea

My finger is recovering but it limits what I can get into. The good news is that my rotator cuff injury seems to have healed after more than a year. And being on the other side comes in handy now the left side is limited.

Cody suffered a seizure and flopped down on the floor. Hard to watch. Recovered after 20 mins

Good Morning
It’s 10° and won’t quite see 30 today under a clear sky.

Yesterday went by pretty quickly.

I did some experimenting with the plasma table, trying to better understand the piercing process and its various settings, and how they influence the process. One of the challenges of building a system is that there is no overall tech support. My plasma cutter, torch and table setup is unique to me. The good news is that once I completely understand the nuances, I can be my own tech support. It didn’t help that I’m completely new to the plasma cutting process.
At any rate by editing the G code and seeing the effect of each change, I made great progress, and working with the code directly was a huge help in understanding the entire process. I was able to pierce and cut a 1.625” hole in a piece of 1/2” steel with no discernible taper and a good pierce as a result of my experiments. It was the piecing that was giving me fits. You can see some failed pierces in the picture.

I cleaned out several filing cabinet drawers, got rid of lots of old paperwork, old contracts, car purchase receipts and window sticks for vehicles that have been long gone etc.

Only service call was no water at the oddfellows lodge. There is a well pit outside, that has a heat lamp as well as heat tape for these rare extended cold spells. The heat lamp was burned out and it froze. Nothing appeared to have burst, so a bulb replacement and some time should take care of it. Left a spare bulb in the pit.

Son and I got a lot of trash to the street, the totes were definitely a two person lift to hook them on and off the brackets on the carryall.

Never got around to lighting the fire, it was all set, maybe it was because it was warmer outside (almost 30), or I was busy, but now I don’t have to start the day with cleaning the fireplace.

Not a lot planned for today, I told a friend that I would help him with his manual J calculations for an addition. The time is well spent if it provides good heat load and loss calculations so the HVAC can be properly sized. And…. He needs it to get a building permit.
Might be a good day to take the little plane to lunch.

Good morning! Yikes the temp just dropped below freezing 30.6˚F, not a hard freeze so I hope all my exposed plants survive. The potatoes did not survive the teens earlier this week even under the hay.
High today will be in the upper 50s S wind. I mowed the back yard in a short sleeve t-shirt yesterday (55˚), something I could never do in the Fall.

Got a response from Amazon pool robot people they will be sending a shipping label to return the 2nd replacement robot. They were nice enough to send a free replacement so I did not want to take advantage of their mistake.

No salt taste in the water after last nights water softener regeneration cycle so the seals were the problem that is now fixed.

Buppies hope you can get the help you need with Holly.
