another storm where snow is going South of me, but wacking into Delaware.
I'm guessing a strong Easterly wind
of course it takes two to tango
you need the moisture and the cold
and the timing to make that special white stuff
I'll take some fluffy white please, have had enough of glaze ice.
thankfully at least on driveway it's all gone so whatever comes down doesn't have anything
slippery underneath. Driveways in the shade aren't so lucky.
I still have leftover ice melt on walkway, since this is going to be all snow and no rain,
might add some more out by driveway.
hope they are right and we don't get surprised with half a foot of snow.
one thing I like about heavy snow in a house closer to a busy country road than I would like, is that when
it snows, most cars stay home and everything is quiet out there. Like snow is sound insulation coming down.
particularly on cold snowy roads
until the rumble of the snow plow with its wackety wackety chains going by
and then Joey goes by in his jacked up Jeep just to be manly and out there....
did any of you have your fathers take you to a parking lot in the snow so you could practice braking and handling?
we didn't have parking lots in a little town, just the high school parking lot.
playing the hooligan there would have been pretty dumb.
