Took wife out to a place in PA we hadn't been to for awhile. I had a good prime rib, wife a good steak. Got home 30 sec after our son got home from work.
Saw an interesting lot up in PA today, inquired. Downside is it's on a forest service road, and they don't maintain in the winter. Wooded near the AT.

Almost got 1st tilling of 2nd area done, maybe 30 minutes shy. A must more challenging area, rougher terrain, more rocks.
Almost, and then I broke my tractor, the adjustable lift rod for the 3pt anyway.

I know for many here, this would be a simple welding fix. For me, maybe, we’ll see.

Good evening all. 32ºF for the start, overcast, windy. Windy, clouds thinned, then thicken during trip, and High temp was about 46ºF. Made coffee, took out trash, cleaned kitchen and finished packing, was able to hit road at 9AM. Got to granddaughter's house at 8 PM and am TIRED. Got to play with great granddaughter for about an hour, she was tired and did more cuddling than normal With any luck won't get too far behind!
NHBX hope errands, refuel tractor and snow bank push back all went well.
Ron glad your snow control, and neighbor's snow control done and ready for next snow fall. Nice new drawbar showed early. Hope you can conserve enough energy to handle the weekend snow fall. Nice cardinal.

Mostly, glad safe trip and fun with GGD.
another problem with lot, it last perc'd for sand mound septic, but apparently needs new perc test. Going to pass. Would have been nice to have a lot only 1 hr away, was real close to where we ate tonight, and real close to where I got GBS 5 1/2 yrs ago. Real close to AT, like within walking distance, but there's a parking area there also. Pretty much at the half way point of the AT, if you want to see the area. I picked up scouts there before, on the 0F backpack trip.

Already pizzed about the pipeline. They were out marking ROW today. wondered why the Temp access Road stake was in the yard. Seems when we agreed to 20 ft wide TAR, it later got changed back t0 25 ft and didn't notice the change. We also noted they could use 200 ft of existing farm road, we didn't say they could widen it, but it appears they think they can. Was thinking about that, couldn't sleep, so got back up to check the document and found where we got screwed.

While up, just caught another starlink flight. Again, so cool to watch. some more direct to phone starlinks.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 20° with cloudy skies. Heading to 31° with chance of couple inches of snow. As sun came up temperatures dropped to 2°. That was sign that I would get my conserve energy day in. I did. Yesterday was good memory day. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and Valentine's Day in Hawaii. Lots of good times there. Video for Scotty is what got me remembering those times. Going to get back at shop projects today. Will need to do some walkway cleanup also.

Son has been in the ER for two days now with heart condition. Hoping for the best

Had the heating oil tank filled up. Took 125 gallons. A couple of more months and the oil burner will no longer be needed
