If you play your cards right, and have the right private land or permission, you can role right into hogs, through to spring turkey, and then start fishing again, till bow season opens.Y'all have a long hunting season...sounds like lots of critters to hunt, or the local hunters miss a lot and need a long season???

We have a wild plum tree over the well, it's the last one to bloom every spring, and it's our official sign of spring. It started blooming last week.....and we got almost 5" of snow yesterday.

Yes sir that is the same place, I should have jumped on this wild mustard earlier but I have been busy doing other things and didn't check on it until yesterday, but fortunately for me this morning was still so no drift made for good spraying weather, I figure it will be in the boot stage within 2 to 3 weeks so it worked out.
I never give up on a frost in North Florida until Easter, but I believe your plum tree is probably right.
