SCUT Shopping Road Trip 2/28/25

After years of research and literally a dozen of more dealerships available, took the road trip today with one in chamber, ready to pull the trigger. I think being the last day of the month motivated some salesman . All the guys I worked with were super nice and thankful for their help.

I had long narrowed it down to TLB models:

*Kubota BX23S
*Massey GC1723EB
New Holland Workmaster25s
LS MT 125
*LS MT 225s

I only looked at 3* before I inked the deal on the red one. Not my first time driving these from past research. Overall, I think the Kubota is much more comfortable with better seat and more open access, but also cost a little more.

These were my findings:

2024 Kubota BX23S: $25,250 cash price before taxes and fees.

LS MT 225s: $24,750 before taxes and fees. BH would have to be added but included in this price. This is a frame size up CUT at the same price point as a SCUT. Really like this tractor and wish they had better dealer retail outlets and support for their products.

Massey GC 1723EB: $21,000 cash price before taxes and fees.

Yes sir. Purchased from Boone Tractor 30 minutes from me. They are a chain in VA and WV.

Good deal. Most dealers will provide good after sale service when you purchase from them and some will cut you a break on consumable parts like filters and lubricants as well.

Good choice; the GC is really well regarded, so many owners on here and they all seem to love their little red tractors.
