Creative. Good job on the modifications!It is a standard Huskee splitter - goes vertical for big rounds. When I used it with my trailer I wanted to work closer to the trailer so that it was a short lob to throw the splits in. I modified it so that I could easily turn the beam either way on the trailer frame.

Mr. Gordon, with your trailer loaded with splits, does it get worrisome on a side hill? It looks like a high CoG combined with the narrow axels.
This week I had (6) of the larger 330gal IBC totes filled with fresh split "green" maple and cherry that I moved with my forks. Maybe 1/3 of a cord each and it was heavy, slooow going and I kept it low out of tipping concerns.
Visually, in your "train" photo, your trailer looks like it's easily carrying more than twice that with the sides boards you added and it's stacked pretty high!
