Three and a half hours of scraping two neighbours' and this place.
The huge pile that was in front of the house is now about 3' high. I use that pile as a wind break during winter.
Managed to get most of the buckets full.

Good (Sunday) morning. Overnight Low of 18.0C and it's presently 19.9C, overcast with a constant breeze. Off'n'on rain... I'll check the gauge tomorrow.

Tractor fun was had yesterday; preparing Paddock #4 and cleaning up #3.

As per usual I'm off to Church in about a half hour and then the rest of the day is His.

That's about it, take care all.

That looks like a very happy Massey.
had to be a smooth operator with that

18 people just died in tornadoes, it's only March and there is
severe weather in the MidWest. I hope this storm tomorrow doesn't amount to much, always
happy to get a nice gentle rain. Thank you and come again.

I don't think I could live in tornado alley.
not without a basement, and hopefully with a strong area in the basement.
and then you come up and your whole life is wrecked and in splinters.
even your tractor is dented.

Good Evening,
Drew, one of my cousins live in Crossville, Tn and he is under a tornado watch. He only has a crawl space under the house but at least he has a place to go ! The area west of St. Louis was hit quite hard.

Kathleen has our kitchen table decked out for our friends coming over tonite for St. Patrick’s Day celebration.

Also agree, true ice storms heavy snowstorms can be pain in the butt also windchill, but little work and warmer temps soon will come better than see years of work growth blown away in seconds.

People sure were busy today, lots of work done on here.
I brought 5 bags pellets up from barn just using the ranger, even though it's 52 deg outside, felt chilly in here so started it.
Like the size of that mini eX Drew.
David, sorry vacation cut short. Hope all is well.

Took another couple out to eat last night way up in PA, little over an hour away. Good food and had a good time.
This morning was our usual breakfast group, with a few more guests invited that were visiting family in town, they were in from southern Ohio.
Picked up a couple 4x4s and a short 2x8 for the deck. decided not to reverse the angle.
Got 2 rail posts next to house removed, and reinstalled a couple feet away, so I could get the first deck board against the house removed. Once that was done, I zip flashed under the sliding door and over the ledger, but ran out of the right tape. The new roll I bought thursday is not backed. I should remove the first row of siding and flash up higher, haven't decided yet. Had to lay on deck to do all the flashing. There was originally tyvek under the door. it had disintegrated, and should have been dealt with a few years earlier. The ledger is fine, but the Non PT band board it is attached to has some weathering on it,nothing looked serious.

Had the cats staring out the door at me working, but didn't take a picture. Nice cat pic L4N.

Where I currently have stairs down off the deck, I might build a lower small deck beside the deck that is 1 or 2 steps down, that will probably be a wood deck for the grill to sit on. Not sure I want the grill on trex, as the grill will drip. this lower deck will then extend over to the back garage door where there is a small deck platform and steps that also need to be replaced. It's only time and money.

got my bike miles in.

Except for when I lived in Alberta ( a double wide trailer home), every house I've lived in has had a basement. I couldn't imagine living anywhere near where there are so many tornadoes. When the one touched down in Barrie, ON I was on my way to Miami. The fuel guy at the TA in Valdosta, GA told me about it. That was summer of 1985 I believe.

Back at the cleanup around here tomorrow.

That is a good jag in your bucket Scott. Imagine how much bigger the pile would be with a wood bucket/rock bucket.
