Good morning TBN!!
60 this morning going to mid 70s. Rain will be here soon and will continue through tomorrow night.
More progress on the tank yesterday. Cutting is done and I put about a third of the pick up load of sawdust in it so I could somewhat walk around inside. Scraped about half of the sides of sludge. Very messy slick footing and just a general mess. Plan on shoveling some of it out today before it rains and the roll it over a bit so I can scrape where I couldn't reach. It's going to be a pretty wet week or so (of course) so not sure when it can go in the river. First things first.
Usual walk the dog, puttering and putting stuff away.

Time for a second cup.
Everyone have a great and safe day!!

I've never met a meat loaf I didn't like
raised on meat loafs with pepperidge farm stuffing inside.
I use that once in a while for memories

going to get a fresh hot cup of coffee and head out to garden shed, see what kind of mess
I left it in. Have dozens of trays up on shelving and a lot of seed starting supplies.
if I ever get another greenhouse, I'll be ready.

seems I have collected several dozen plastic plant pots, going to use a few simply to plant
seeds in, like sweet pea flowers, and perhaps grow my own flower giftees for when i go visit gardeners.
I have too many bush beans, going to poke them in some pots also.
good way to get rid of the old plastic pots too, form of recycling.
after checking bottom for recycle sign put a lot in the recycle bin yesterday too.
there's only so many you need to hang on to...
a bit of common sense I routinely abuse
but enough got the heave ho yesterday I think I'm good.
I'm almost maxxed out in the shed already for shelving.

rv leaves next week so I'll find out if suv fits in garage. I kinda doubt it.
if it won't then that opens up all kinds of possibilities for the open garage floor space.
like more tables for projects and woodworking.

Good Morning
42° and overcast. High of 65 forecast and no rain.

Yesterday, I worked on the wire locator and have it functional, but the L-R commands aren’t working. It’s dead nuts on just following signal strength though. Not sure if I really need to keep working on it for now. My 3D printed battery box worked perfectly.

My next project was a shelf organizer for the plane to keep all the mini booze bottles upright. My first attempt was a failure because I didn’t realize that the shelf it goes on was a complex shape. The printer can only do a 10” cube, so I had to make it in two pieces and glue them together

Here is the front piece on the shelf.

And here is half of the failed attempt. I really should have paid more attention when I took the measurements to see the actual shape. It helped a lot to take the shelf home and measure it.

The two pieces of the new one are clamped together while the glue cures now.

Today started with making pancakes, none of the kids were interested in coming to visit, so it was just us.
I’ll putter in the shop a bit, and then I’ve got to go to Palm Beach again this afternoon, so I doubt I’ll start any real projects.

after looking out seeing a fat squirrel mauling my birdfeeder and about to knock it off like yesterday,
decision was made.
Time for a persuader.
ordered a Red Rider adult bb gun with scope, and a set of targets to see how accurate it is.
I wanted a pump bb gun so can regulate force and not kill critters.
I want the smack in the rear to be "persuasive"...

I would have preferred it to be orange so no mistaking it for something more powerful.
actually, just figured out another alternative.
take my CO2 pepper ball gun, which I've never used, and put the practice balls in there.
talk about inaccurate...I bet I'd never hit it.
which is why I want a scope so I can avoid the animals head

my crazy neighbor has an airgun and I hear smack smack smack a lot.
He has a target of a man with a big red heart.
Tell me that's not spooky...
Lol, I read your post and then later this was on my utube feed.

that video is marvelous, thanks

picked out a teak table top to go over the firepit outside so I can use it as a table most of the time.
I keep teak oil on hand for dining room table, so don't mind a coat of oil once in a while.
need to find a nice flower pot for center.
confirmed chairs were coming tuesday.
since sitting on rough gravel, need to get chair leg tips all around.

went out and found electrical parts I needed for rv, might fiddle with that later.
had some leftover Wago inline connectors that will make this easy once I pry off the case.
these are four dollar lights in bulk so wouldn't take much to break the plastic. Am replacing whole thing
so suppose no matter assuming new one covers old whole totally.

Good Morning Paul,
Nice work on the 3D printing projects. I remember when we were doing a lot of stereo lithography, we would have sometimes build support structures into the CAD model for the build support. I’m guessing that the 3D printing is a different beast, so maybe not needed.
