Good morning!!!!

Drinking hot coffee. 23° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 43 with a mix of sun and clouds. Spent yesterday looking for my manual rain gauge mounting bracket. Looked in 4 buildings several time. After ordering a new one from Amazon. I did one more look. Found it stuck in a corner that was open to a good view from inside the barn. Got it set up on side of garden pond. Ready for the big rain forecast for tomorrow. More cleanup of garden pond today. Have to wait few more days to turn water on. Freezing temperatures are still in 10 day forecast.
Well fed squirrel.

Everyone stay well and safe.

Good Morning All.

good morning all
stormy night as thunderstorms went though but thankfully power stayed on.
1.39 rain in gauge.
I was pretty lazy yesterday, enjoyed my book, knowing today would be busy.
Need to take rv to rv campground in Hatfield, basically a small mobil home community, and give
it a full wash. This rain last night I'm sure black streaked the paint.
Will get rv all set up and staged, then come home and will put an online ad in rvtrader.com

several more cold nights ahead, including tonight. Planting outside before April 15 here is pretty iffy unless plants
are covered. Am pretty incorrigible when it comes to freezing plants, manage to do it every year.

lawn greened up yesterday and I need to get weedeater out to go around the raised veggie gardens.

went to oldest, smallest lawn mower dealer locally yesterday, an old Gravely dealer working out of a farm on Windybush Road.
how they stay in business don't know. They are a big Stihl dealer, but no money in that since so competitive. I didn't realize Stihl also
makes zero turn mowers, they seemed pretty hefty looking. 30+ years ago I bought a new Gravely garden tractor from them, not the one I have now, so
they have been Gravely dealers since forever. They did not have the headlights I was looking for, but did order them for me. 15 bucks a piece.
I was sure they'd have an old dusty box in the back but no.

hope you all have a good day and best wishes for a great day for Buppies.

50 going to 61. Good t-storm late yesterday.

Thomas, sorry about that ice damage. Ice storms aren't common there, are they?

I'm still working on a number of things, but the grape arbor has most of my attention.

Yesterday my wife drove me to an early eye doctor appointment for annual check up. Everything good, but I'm a mess most of the day when my eyes are dilated. We did have a nice lunch at the Mexican place, and hit Home Depot, the grocery store and Walmart while in town, while I'm wearing sunglasses inside because even the fluorescent lights were way too bright.

going back and forth with seller of firepit and chairs on Amazon. Very good customer service but three
different deliveries on three separate days for all the parts was ridiculous. At least it won't get hurt being rained on.
Chairs come two to a box, so looks like assembly ahead. I honestly don't enjoy that any more.

weather cover comes today for firepit, day late, over an inch of rain short....will blow dry the thing carefully before I cover it.
first might give it all a shot of 303 protectant, mostly the top.
Sides are plastic wicker. Teak top weighs 24 pounds, so I need to get rubber tips on leg bottoms and level that off carefully
before putting top on. First plastic cover goes on, then teak top on top. And a flower pot for a centerpiece.
not hard to take off and actually use as a firepit. Think I might use some industrial velcro to hold it all together.

I really hope that teak top arrives today without shipping damage. My teak oil is ready.
but this will have to sit waiting until I get rv done and ready for sale.
I'm renting space for a month at full rate to get good exposure, don't want to waste opportunity.
and it all starts today, no fooling... ;)

I like Teak. Sure looks good on somebody else’s Boat. Lots of maintenance. I replaced all the exterior teak on my last 2 boats with King Starboard.

Ron, I have a teak dining room table, small thing, a teak seat in my shower and now I'll have a teak
table top out back. Easy to care for if out of the sun, lot more work if in it. But you need to keep it clean and oiled or
varnished. This way over the winter I can just put the teak top in the garage.
Starboard is wonderful stuff, cuts/works more like wood than plastic.

Good Morning,
Vt, 28 to start going to 47, so no hurry to get outside with those temps. 😉 really hoping for some sun later and hopefully the wind isn’t too bad.

Sitting in front of the wood stove now with a cup of coffee. After breakfast I will start unloading the truck and plan my day as far as removing the deck.

Buppies, hoping Holly improves and you can finally get some sleep 🙏

Hope all have a blessed and safe day 🙏
