Anyone know where I might find throttle parts for an older John Deere Weed trimmer XT140LE, Ser. # TCXS40N014122 ???
Have tried Dealers, Searched the Net. Anyone with a pile of them laying around

David, I assume that what you term "throttle parts" means the carburetor. Are you looking to replace the carb ?

No Richard, I'm talking about the throttle assembly on the shaft that holds the trigger. The trigger is fine, but a plastic part inside the handle has broke.

Looks like the complete throttle assembly is available to be ordered. PA10253 You won't like the price but supposedly is available.

Were these not rebadged Homelite trimmers ?

Spanner, I'm not sure if there were rebadged at that time. It has a Kawasaki engine.

RandyT, where can I reorder that? I tried at my local dealer, they could not find it, said it was discontinued.

My local Sloan's JD dealer says available to order. Now it may be obsolete and may show that upon trying to order. You may be able to order directly from the partscatalog.deere.com
