Redecking is not that bad. If I had built the railings better in the first place it would have gone pretty quick to just pull up the old boards and screw down new. However, since I have to rebuild my railings, and I want to connect over to the garage deck, it will take longer with more work. But, as long as nothing happens to me, I have time, so might as well do it right. Wanted to get it done before it got too hot, hope I make it. Grass cutting will begin soon.

Good evening all. 52ºF for the start, trace rain in gauge, overcast, light breeze. Light wind, periods of rain, stronger storms tonight. High temp was 55ºF. Heat pump has not run in 3 days, house still 68ºF. Made coffee to start day, was able to get ICVFD signature cars signed, get haircut, and sign checks for book keeper, did get nap in. Got notice a former riding friend passed, no funeral or obit per his request.
Fuddy now that's warm for this time of year!
Buppies you are very warm too. Glad good visit with Holly. Hope paving project went well prayers sent.
Ron sorry about the wind, it had been windy here as well. Hope you got laundry done. Hope you got the leaves out of pond. Not much food up there . Hope you get baby cranes.

35° now highs in the low 40’s with rain this afternoon. Winds ESE at 5 to 10 mph.

Nice day yesterday, sunny hit 62° in the afternoon, did a fair amount of sitting in the sun enjoying nature. Amazon dropped off a new EGO string trimmer so put that together, took longer to register the darn thing online than to put it together lol. Seems to be well made and comfortable to use. Bought it to use around the house and garden just for less noise and convenience.

Usual dump run this morning and just putter around the rest of the day.

Coffee has been poured into cup. 43° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 48° with am rain and continued clouds. Laundry did get put away. Got new pond vacuum out and vacuumed pond bottom. I found a good deal for a used pond vacuum on Ebay for $99. It was missing some parts that I already had as spare part for my old pond vacuum. They normally cost $500. Did some yard cleanup of all the small branches that have fallen. Got my daily steps up over 7k per day. the last 2 weeks. Today I will change oil in lawn mowers gear boxes. Get them ready for grass cutting. All the rain has turned things green around here.

Good Morning,
Ct, 45 to start going to 52 with rain coming in this morning.

Had to get up early to bring our youngest son and DIL and grandkids to the airport, they are going to Florida for the week.

Last night we went out for pizza with friends and after the airport run I have to go into work for a few hours to wrap up a few deliveries.

I have rounded up the jig saw and the meter and also replaced the batteries in the meter and placed them strategically in the garage so as not to forget

Tonite we are going to an off Broadway show and dinner, so should be tired tonight.

Tomorrow it’s church early and the I have FD training and then back to Vermont. So a couple busy days

Well springtime hit hard yesterday...1st hummingbird...apples and pears went into full bloom and the dogwoods and lilacs started blooming. I don't remember a year when they all occurred on the same day. My wife says the hummingbirds return when the quince blooms, but that was 3 weeks ago.

I worked on the grape arbor all day yesterday. Had the tractor, truck, and come-along all engaged at the same time. I pulled too hard on one post and caused a cave-in, but needed to tackle that section anyway. I've now completed 30 out of the 50 feet length. Slow going and now even slower after doing a number on my shoulder.

Will take an upper body rest day today and focus on my wife, who just returned from 2 nights at son's babysitting, and Della, who needs a hike and swim real bad.

You only have 1 meter? I have 3 Fluke meters . One in each the house, shop and pole barn. You know what that means. All 3 will end up in same building next time I need one.
