my deck was stored with fresh blades (painted and coated with wd40) and full service done. it will be many weeks before needed here. will need tiller (also full service before tarp and store) first.
but as I bring each one up will take 5-10 minutes max to touch with grease gun and look for anything odd.
this year I do need to grind off (tack welded on underside) and replace 2 studs holding drive over plates onto deck.

did take run at manure/compost pile for few moments. needed to see what ground conditions and interior heat was.
pile cold and ground very wet. can grab bucket full only sink inch. spin any tire and suddenly sink 3-4 inches.
so...will wait. pretty close to where tiller and mower are stored and I know that area is soupy still.
pretty good drying day today, but 1-3 inches snow due tonight then during thursday daytime up to inch of rain again :(

May have to start building an ark.

snow didn't happen, just sleet/freezing rain for a bit now all rain. hopefully that estimated amount will be as inaccurate as the snow forecast.

I'm hoping the same. If they are right, I could have as much as 4"+ of rain in a weeks time.

2"+ is the total so far.

Had the property nice and firming up, with the bumps rolled out.

Now, it's likely to get ruts, from having to mow soft ground.

Sure glad I put in another 325' of drain tile last year.

more trailer work.
2x8x10 (2 per side) on sides (leaves 4" from wood to rail for strap access if needed) and 2x10x8 on front for toolbox to bolt to.
need clearance between box back and mount location for lid opening, board need to be approx 1 inch lower than lid due to lid tilt when opening. thats why I didn't just bolt to the front uprights. plus the wood blocked stuff from flying out there under hard brake and gave me fuel can mount.

sides use 3" square ubolts, 24 of them....got crapload of M8x1.25 nylon lock nuts on the way to install to lock that stuff then will trim excess bolt length off.

tiedown rated 12k but would never put that much on them. they are well built but are only a 2 bolt hold down. so 8 installed.

toolbox (thin style) carry 8 15" safety cones, 2 4x4x12 chock sets, 2 2x6x4ft to stop gate scrub when load/unload (place under gate in line with tires) and 2 56" 2x8pt with bolts on end to hook into gate grate in case of sharp ramp angles causing attachment bind.

and fuel can attached with bungee cord to eyebolts.

fwd facing ambers at rear added and working, 1 set of led for reverse light added on rear not wired yet.

tomorrow will add middle and front reverse led lights and wire them and the rear rev leds up in month or 2 when stuff is dry.

but now trailer is all set to haul whatever and stuff won't fly out between open rails.

edit: clarified box mount stuff.

oh yeah, trailer is FOR the GC2400 and the GC2400 did move this a little bit today for access. so yeah, it fits topic :)

neighbor got tractor like mine. but few years newer. 2022 GC1723.
coming onto 3 yrs old and only 15 hrs on it. massey bases first service on 100 hrs a year. at 100 hrs or 1 yr, whatever comes first, full fluid service. well....thats not been done....YET...I'm on it.
anyways he parked it in conex box last year and since november starts and stalls.
so towed it out with my tractor today (2010 GC2400) and changed fuel filter as it was fully waxed up. one look was all it took for me, very shiny.filter should not be shiny.
so it starts and stalls. never hear fuel pump running. gravity put enough fuel into bowl to start and stop.
at that point knew something making pump not run but fuse not blown.
put diesel 911 in and 15 minutes later pump started working.
still, start and stop BUT start lot easier. but pump still sounds odd, could hear fuel NOT returning.
only 1/4 tank of fuel, very little head pressure. put 3 gallons new fuel into tank and 15 minutes later could hear pump working and fuel circulating right. 5 minutes after that tractor running up and down road.
its running, told him to call dealer and see if initial free service is still a thing almost 3 years later. if not I will service but my labor will be 100$.
presently he owes me a fuel filter and a few $$ for the 911 and gas used to grab him fresh diesel. hes gonna run the thing a lot more now.
I was worried an injector had waxed up but once running full bore for few moments everything settled down and I am no longer worried. tractor is fine all through rpm range.
he will no longer let a diesel engine sit unused for months at a time.

anyways, a 15yr old GC2400 towed a 2022 GC1723 out of a 40ft conex box and got the damned thing running.

Possibility he had a "summer fuel" issue as well? Glad you got him going!
