Tractor
Yanmar SC2400
Compact tractor won’t start - all lights turn on so there’s power I’m assuming- I checked the safety brake on the floor board. Just clicks and that’s all I’m getting

Corroded battery connections or a bad battery or.... Start with cleaning the battery connections, always do the simple stuff first.

FWD & REV pedals may be out of position for starting.

Try taking the battery cables off and clean them if needed. Check to be sure they are tight. Retry it.

Check all the places where a safety switch may be the culprit. Not sure about your tractor but almost all made after 2000 have some safety switch(s). Try turning the key and jiggling the L\M\H selector, F\R be sure to be seated (if yours has that safety switch).

Lights can be energized with much less energy than is needed to engage your tractors starter.

Definitely check your battery cables for corrosion of its wires where the battery connections are, also clean the connectors and the battery post. Check your battery ground connection to the frame.

Your PTO is not engaged correct?

How old is your battery?

Even though you used a jump if there is a cell in your battery shorting out that can also suck the energy out of the jump pack. The only true test of a battery is a load test which any auto parts store will do for free.

These are all the easy things to check, next you'll probably need a wiring diagram and a volt/ohm meter.

Lots of people here can help you, report back what you find.

Load test the battery. You can buy one or take it out and have it load tested.

It would help to know what model of tractor it is.

Is the PTO on?
Is it in the neutral position? This will vary by tractor model.
Is the park brake set?

If this is an SA tractor, try to start with the brake pedal pressed harder, the switch could be out of adjustment. Also move your forward and reverse pedals slowly by trying to start. Switches could not be contacting properly.

Kioti has a known problem with starter switches. I thought it was a bad battery, so got a new AGM from Walmart. Wouldn't start so thought I got a bad battery. But swapped batteries with my car (both 24F) and car is fine.
Apparently Kioti ignition switch can get gunked up internally and many have had success spraying WD40 into them (no disassembly, just stuff the tube into the key slot and spray). Finally tried that this morning, tractor sat two weeks until I got around to it.
First turn, click. Second turn, fired right up.
Looks like that might work.
Again, Kioti, not Yanmar. This may or may not be relevant for you.
