Unless you have a dedicated weather station on your land (I do), I know of no better source than the National Weather Service. Just put your zip code into the box on their link and you get excellent forecasts, radar, and a wealth of detailed information if you drill down. All free (well, our tax dollars in action). If you fly an airplane or ride in one, the guy up front depends on them.I had been a dedicated WU user for probably a decade or so on my laptop..
Then today I log in and they've changed it over to the weather channel and with all the cr@p they put on the screen there is hardly space for the radar image.
What are others using for free?
While they gather the data which most other sites interpret and use, they seem to be the least accurate here. Quite often they will say one thing while other sites will say another. Then their forecast will change and be in line with everybody else… sometimes I think they go to weather underground and copy their forecast.Unless you have a dedicated weather station on your land (I do), I know of no better source than the National Weather Service
Well, forecast for here is to hit 79 today. Agree, way too hot for the end of April.Looking at the temps some of you are posting, all that I can say is "Better you than me."
The only time I want to see them pushing 80 is when my woodstove is cranking out the heat.
