You welcome. I hope you find one.Thank you Travis. I'll check them out.
Yeah, a collision shop could be pricey vs Fredricks shipping a hood to you.Thank you Travis. I'll check them out.

I think all of them are simply importing VN rebuilts. With random spare parts salvaged off warranty returns. There are places in California, Arizona and Washington with gray market re-builders too.
I hear you. It would be random to find a hood with the other refurbish places. Fredricks is a special place, they have their own salvage lot or they know where to obtain parts from the exporters.I think all of them are simply importing VN rebuilts. With random spare parts salvaged off warranty returns.
At least that was the case with the long-gone wholesaler in Northern California. They had been moving at least 200 tractors/month before their warranty returns overwhelmed them.
I asked if they could refurb my YM240 - no. No work done on site. They were simply the link between relatives that owned the VN factory, and their US retailers.
I think these US refurb dealers are similar, sales but little service. (Except Fredricks of course).
These US dealers might have parts salvaged off a warranty return, it's worth asking, but it will be random luck if that hood turns up.
You said that right, FIND. FB is difficult to keep scrolling thru the feed to FIND what you saw even hours prior. There was a guy on Facebook Marketplace that was parting out a 2210d recently. I will see if I can find that post
Yeah, I looked several times and I don't see it anymore. You said that right, FIND. FB is difficult to keep scrolling thru the feed to FIND what you saw even hours prior.
Good luck.![]()
The YTOG is easy to search. And since the TBN upgrade here not too long ago, it's gotten better to search just within this Yanmar forum only.Yeah, I looked several times and I don't see it anymore.
Facebook Market Place [Greenville Tennessee]Yeah, I looked several times and I don't see it anymore.
Glad you found something out your way. The YTOG doesn't list Arizona Tractor Sales due to a 50/50 split of pro and negative reviews from our members. It's a gamble. I would say for parts, they can help, for restorations and warranty of machines, not so good.Well, after weeks of looking for and chasing down a hood for my YM2210D, I found one at Arizona Tractor Sales. Jack, the owner, was incredibly helpful and had one lined up within a few hours. The hood has a new grill, and light housing with lights. It also has new paint. I highly recommend Jack and his company. He restores older Yanmar tractors (not trade marked units), and has access to a wide variety of parts, like a hood. Thanks to all who responded. You were all very helpful.
