Finished trimming up the indeterminate tomatoes on the straight trellis and uncaged any that were still caged.

Probably going to pull the cages on the summer squash as they’ve now outgrown them.

The okra plants are now big enough to go in the ground. Those will get caged.

Nothing on shelves out back needed watered.

Collected up the bottle of Sevin that The Woman left downstairs last year and brought it up to the garage along with a metal u post which will be used to mount the rain gauge.

Garage closed up and now cooling off.

EZREAD Jumbo Rain Gauge located and dust rinsed off.

Mounting board selected and sanded, Australian Timber Oil applied to back and ends. Once that dries up a bit I’ll get the front and sides coated.

Screws for mounting picked out.

Going to head out with a fresh can of primer and get the priming on that first t post finished up.

Probably try to finish up the mowing down here around the house after that.

Then maybe work on getting that okra in the ground.

interesting first haircut, she was ok, very pleasant and wanted 45 for a haircut last guy was charging
me 20 for. Now I was paying 40 anyway with tip, but it only takes about five minutes to cut my hair and going to look
around for alternatives.

went to local garden shop that had a sale, so hot I came home dripping and said enough of that.
I guess she is not that easy on the eyes?

BEF,
I've been a Loretta Lynn fan for years.

90F and mostly cloudy @ 17:00.

Finished priming t post.

Finished up mowing down around the house except for a very small section in a low spot out back which was too wet.

Finished coating mount board for rain gauge.

Got most of compost/woodlot mowed before Dangerous Thunderstorm Alert issued.

Ordered Indoor/Outdoor Wireless Thermometer and another Rubbermaid single-step stool from Amazon.

Going to go heat up some of yesterday’s Sloppy Joe and have a snack.

Still $18 for seniors here. Hope you reduced your tip.
I smiled and paid her the 45 she asked for.
I had 40 ready, which was 30 and a nice tip.
last guy was 25 and nice tip.
45 is too much for a ten minute hair cut.
problem is this is high rent district and salon is booked solid with higher paying women
in there. No smelly chemicals for me...I don't even want my hair washed; I always do that the morning of the
haircut.

well, guess I'm back in the hunt.
if she says her rate is 45, then ok.
most folks around here wouldn't bat an eye at that.
I also don't want to drive too far to save a few bucks on a haircut.
to be continued.

There are four "Great Clips" 8 to 10 miles from New Hope PA. That's where I get my $18 senior manly haircut. I down loaded the app and sign-up on the waitlist before I leave the house and usually don't wait more than 5 minutes. Great Clips Online Check-In | Find A Great Clips Near Me
