I just get a $5 stack of Harbor Freight electrical tape and use that for the tails, that $5 lasts for YEARS, sure it's junk tape but it works great in this application... just keep a roll or two in the door pockets on my F350 then it's always there on either side...

I worked with this American Indian, everybody called him Indian Joe. He would work with us on poured concrete walls. Other jobs he would do was high rise steel buildings, when her worked with us he never laced up his boots. I hope he did on the other job.

Not really hauling badly, but why would you try to take a trailer through a drive through.

Guy cleared by about 4", and then the tires and fender missed the side of the building by about a 1/2".

When I was hauling cars, there was a Wendy's near my local auction that I was able to take my truck and trailer through. F550 with a 50ft wedge trailer! No overhangs and no curbs on the right side.

I would also take my F650 rollback through it, but that was less impressive lol.

Had to do that when the covid nonsense was in full swing. Can't go inside the restaurant, truck has a trailer and we were hungry!

Saw a guy do the trailer thing at the bank. As he took the corner, managed to get the concrete bollard between the truck and trailer, I have no idea how he got it in there so far, it was almost to the trailer hitch.

Never did that, but I did lift my Bronco enough that I couldn't clear the drive thru overhang, around age 19 or 20.

Thankfully I noticed the clearance problem before pulling forward and hitting the thing, but there are few things more frustrating and embarassing than being in a line with 5 people jammed up behind you, when you realize you can't go forward any more... or backward. :ROFLMAO:

I seen someone do that with one of the extra large uhaul box trucks at a gas station.

They cut the corner to short and got the bollard wedged into the sheet metal in front of the rear tires.

They tried pulling out from it and just wedged it in tighter.

All he had to do was crank the front tires to the left and back up and he would have been unstuck.

I didn't say anything though. That was one rodeo I didn't want to get involved in

This is why I don't like straps for tieing my wheeler and snowsled into the truck. This is the second time... first time I don't know how the sled stayed on.20250711_092255.jpg

20250711_092303.jpg This old piece of rope is the only reason I didn't lose it.
