What did you buy this week?

I,ve got a 2020 Ford F150. I tried putting in an address for a new church, but it would not recognize the address. Is there any free way to update my truck gps, or do I have to pay to get it updated to 2025 info ?

I've found that often when it wouldn't take a correct address it was a syntax that it couldn't handle, ie. county road, Cty road., or street instead of road.

Or can you use your phone, bluetoothed into your radio.

Yes, you see, that is part of the problem.
I have no idea what that means.
I read TBN and surf.
That's all I know how to do.
In all seriousness, find a kid to help you. (y) And by kid, I mean someone under 40. :ROFLMAO:

My wife was having some issues with Hulu through our allegedly smart TV remote. Our 32 year old grabbed the remote and showed her how to do the task pretty quickly. As a former I.T. nerd, I was proud of the kid.

Interesting little purchase which ended up requiring another small project.
Bought a Setpower Fridge/Freezer to carry in the truck for trips and grocery shopping. I thought my fancy pickup had a DC power outlet in the bed along with the bed lighting, but no it didn't.
So I bought a wiring harness that was plug and play with the pickup, it's a 5th wheel harness that tee's into the bumper trailer harness and parallels it so the bed mounted trailer connector and the bumper one are both usable.
Then I've ordered a power outlet to 7 pin adapter.

Had to bore a 2" hole in the inside of the bed for the 7 pin connector and then route the harness up to it and plug it in. It was a long reach up in between the inner bed and fender area to plug in the connector.

Just waiting for the fancy adapter to come in,

It is supposed to be a light checker and 4 or 5 pin adapter as well as a power outlet.

To simplify my TV viewing I added Roku devices to all my ‘smart’ TVs. One simple common remote & interface across three TVs. I highly recommend the ones with volume control for $10 more.

Looks really well integrated.
Does the adapter have a fuse?

I don't believe so, the fridge/freezer has it's own protection. It's a SetPower DT45. The power feed on the 7 pin has a 40 amp fuse in the trucks fuse block.
