From viewing one casting # I'll guess planter was built by Farmall/IHC. I fairly confident it's not a JD planter

I don't think it is a McCormick. The plates are unique. I found this on Goolge lens, but not much help.

Thanks for your reply. I've been pointed to a JD No7 or JD51 of the 1940s but, not sure about it. I tried to compare to IHC but, could not find a match. The Machine was very rusty and not working. We did a a lot of work on it and tested, seem like is going to work but, Would like to find the exact model to buy its parts. The fertilizer part is in bad shape.

We had an old Oliver (can't remember the number) corn planter and a Ford 309 that look similar, but I was a kid back then. They came off my great grandads farm in Minnesota. I'll see if I can find any old photos to share...you have my interest now...
Come to think about it, we also had a Moline two row planter with the same wheels...that would explain the yellow paint

Those don't look like Deere seed plates. More pics of the front/seed openers might help.

Shown in photo below are the 2 types of planter seed plates offered for JD planter seed boxes. As I previously stated I'm fairly confident that the planter shown in photos above is not a JD planter.
