I'm looking at replacing the radio in my Kioti DK6010SE can. I have all of the push pins removed but the liner won't come down. Looks like I need to remove the temp controls, the radio and the cab light but I can't figure out how to do that? Any suggestions or manuals I can reference?

Don't remove the Liner from the inside!! All you need to do to install the radio is remove the cab roof. There are nuts you remove from the outside, front and side, and the cab roof will lift off exposing the top side of the roof liner.

Most of the time you can add a radio by just removing the stereo cover plate and reaching inside for the wire harness. If it is not a KIOTI Radio, you will need an adapter harness. Just google KIOTI Radio Adapter. I believe it is a Toyota part number.

Hope this helps

Oh. Interesting. That would be a lot easier although that does expose the inside to the weather. Guess I need to get a replacement radio first and start early. Question about the AUX port on the left side of the cab next to the toggle button for AUX and radio. Can I plug a phone in there and okay over the speakers out do I need to go through the radio? I basically want to have a hard wired connection to play music and podcasts of my phone without wifi or Bluetooth.

My dk45 had a ipod adapter installed under the cup holder on the right hand side when i got it. Not sure if all kioti radios came that way.

I would imagine any sort of aux source would go thru the radio to use its amplifier. Cellphone's not gonna drive speakers, or at least not loud enough to be heard in a running tractor.
As far as how the aux input would be handled, that would depend on the new stereo you install. The Pioneer I had in my old Jeep had a 1/8" jack and a USB slot on the front panel.
