Good Morning
69° and foggy. Supposed to burn off into a sunny 90° day.
Today starts with the FAA visit, I should be in good shape for that, I made sure that I had everything in order and at my fingertips yesterday.
After that, assuming that the fog burns off it’s over to the RC club to fly the retired guys. That should keep me until lunch, then I have an errand to run with the little plane, picking someone up in Philly and dropping them off in Allentown to pick up their plane from avionics shop. Nothing planned after that, but something always comes up.
Like last night when I went to cover the grill, I noticed that one of the pivot pins for the folding side table was bent. I decided I needed to straighten it, and broke it off in the process. So I wrestled with deciding which was easier, bringing the TIG welder to the grill or vice versa. Ultimately decided neither, I silver brazed it with Harris SafetySilv 56, which is a perfect color match for stainless steel, and only required bringing an acetylene/air torch out to the grill. The repair worked out well in the end.
