Almost all our Fruit and veggies are either local grown or from Mexico and farther south.

AI now is more machine learning than AI like you see in Movies, but it is already getting Bias from the people or data sets it learns or is trained from.

Remember that AI is used in a lot of cars today, not just EVs.

I have to wonder how soon AI will participate in healthcare diagnosis and treatment. We are already seeing major disruptions like clinics/hospitals closing and staff relocating.

Already happening, Dr are using it in many larger hospitals to do a second opinion review.

Already hitting the FinTech industry hard right now, and parts of IT too.

Anywhere there is a human involved is ripe for automation, robotics and AI. To think otherwise is careless.

Much of that was framing in over hundred degree weather. Can you tolerate that? I applied what I learned, to making better money renovating properties that then paid my way through grad school. How much education do you have?

Subaru? Many offroad adventures. I've posted photos here, on jeep trails. We retired it to second-car status in 2005 when we bought something with better gas mileage. Still have it for occasional ski trips etc. Why do you have a problem with that?

I built homes, garages and additions for 25 years and pursued my dream of full time farming & also branched out into property maintenance.

I think you and your canine cohort’s constant referral of Americans being too soft to use a shovel, pour concrete, or pick crops opens you up to criticism as to how you view every legal citizen in this country, including yourself.

Somebody said Subaru? Photo is back side of the Sierras 20 miles beyond the pavement. Very remote, maybe 100 miles from a tow. No evidence that anyone had been up here at least since last winter's snow.

Subarus are more capable than you might think. This is the seventh time I've bought a 4 wheel drive, starting from ratted-out '55-56 Willys Wagons. 25 years now for this one. It's all I need.

The 'road' down into our mining claim. Again, 20 miles from pavement.

i wouldn't have any application for a lifted $100k 4 door pickup.

For me that four years in construction full time (plus several years prior not full time) was the door to a career where I was able to retire at 54. We've lived comfortably ever since. No more exhausting work like you! Now the work I put into my hobby farm is just for fun. Retirement is great, you should try it. If you can afford it.
