How could Artificial Intelligence become dangerous?

There is some talk in my world, about the singularity of the internet. Its when there are more fake bots and AI , then real people. And the bots just talk to each other, and we don't see any difference than real human conversation, but you can't tell the difference. You have to wonder at that point, what its doing. Is it just talking to it self? And you are no longer the biggest content creator. So what is it? And is it even interesting? The most important tool in human kind: Got perverted, cause there was money in automating it. We lost something. We lost this gift.

What happens when the fake bots and AI decide to take wealth and control the human population? What could stop it? The world banks and infrastructure is already computer controlled.

The current batch of oligarchs won't allow that to happen. Maybe they are actually bots, but they still won't allow other bits to take over.

Imagine, one day a century or two after AI/bots have eradicated the human race. One clever bot, in a ploy for supemacy, invents a self-replicating carbon based somewhat intelligent form of life. Hmmm, the possibilities are endless!

I didn’t read the whole thread but my guess is …. AI will take over therapy completely and convince a human to destroy the world . That way AI really didn’t do it … or so we think

What I am reading here are some folks are confused about AI taking over jobs, when it’s the robotics that actually DO the work, right?

The brains behind robotics is being influenced and moved in new ways by AI and like tools. It's a single entity.
