Tractor
Grand L3540 ,724 loader, bucket, grapple and now forks also! And just for OP.. a pool!
So I have a Kubota L3540 that I've had 8-10 years. Was out mowing today everything was going fine, then I picked the mower up to move but it would not let it lower back down!
Thoughts or ideas where to start? I did blow everything out with compressed air, looked for obstructions but I see nothing wrong. And checked fluid and that was fine also!
Thanks, Scott

Check the knob under the seat. It adjusts the speed the 3 pt hitch drops, or if fully closed, it will lock it in position. It will still let it raise the 3 pt hitch up to max height.

You sir are my hero!! That was exactly the case, not sure how that knob got turned but that was exactly the case!
And like I say, I’ve had that tractor eight or 10 years. I guess I’ve never messed with that knob!

Cool! Easy fix!

It's actually a fairly common thing to happen. As we keep twisting our bodies to the right to look back, the legs more often than not will rub on the knob and eventually close it all the way. Then, since it's not something people use every day, they tend to forget about the knob.

So looking back on my day, this is the first time in a month I’ve been able to drive my tractor. I had spinal surgery so I was unable to till now and when I got on the tractor earlier, I tried to adjust the seat cause I know it’s adjustable too, and I must’ve hit that knob also or something but thanks for the fix!
