I think if you can maintain plowing it with your 6x6 or your 700 he left you all winter cuz you live nearby you can diy it after snowfalls. However if you let it go your hiring someone with a d8 cat to open it up lol. That drive in is a mile you have to plow? Or is there parking before the mile trek?
The parking is at the start and where these photos were taken.

There's a lot for you to like about that property. Your head must be spining with ideas.

Could that 12x28 storage/workshop building be modified for tractor storage (for now)?
Barrel stoves put out the heat but are inefficient. You might want to be on the lookout for a wood stove upgrade.
So, when is the closing?

If you ever decide to upgrade the solar, you might want to offer a free ArlyA B&B stay to TBN member FatJay, and pick his brain. He chronicaled an amazing solar journey for his garage +

New garage time!

My ROPS is apparently 98", which is about the height of that 4066 cab. It fits great inside my hi-cube.
Personally I'd drop a hi-cube on that site for now or possibly permanently; between a locked gate a mile back and a good lock on the container your tools should be pretty safe. Maybe some caltrops on the road, too, just remember to pick them up next time you come through...

If I was going to drive a cab into mine, I'd make sure the approach is mostly at-grade though; mine has a brief gravel ramp going up to the door which may make a cab's clearance a bit dicey because of the tilting.

FWIW, I got a one-trip 40' hi-cube with doors at both ends. Makes access to the far end trivial and easy to see without extra light during the day, plus plenty of ventillation. Mine is a light tan color which keeps cool even in 50% summer sun; I've been in dark green and dark brown containers and even in morning sun they're saunas.

Container rain, literally, be watchful for, they trap so much humidity even with those little side vents I bought and ran solar fans on the inside mounted by vents one drawing air in the other expelling it. Works pretty good granted this is a 20' container. If it was a forty footer id buy more solar fans and subsequent panels I mount on the edges near the old lifting points so it doesn't penetrate the container. My 20 footer like most are probably the most rodent proof storage I own though.

No to tractor size or very unlikely. I see used good quality wood stoves for sale on FB all the time and we did know the stoves there, were of poor quality and unsafe.. We might close in a few weeks.

We were looking at a Kabota L5740 and looking at its specs, it was to tall to fit in a high cube and at this time, no one will even drive a truck into this. Maybe after we make some improvements....

I've got mine with 6"-18" of space under it - it's level on a slight grade, up on railroad ties at the corners, and there's plenty of ventilation under it. I don't have the slightest bit of moisture in it.

I have friends who have a couple 20's that were on the ground and it rained in them. I took my farm jack over and put them up on blocks, and now they're dry. Certainly there's a step up going into them, but it's worth it.

Plenty of room underneath not just for air transfer but so that predators can keep the underside clear too.

Inside of a high cube should be 8'9" = 105".
I see an L5740 cab height listed as 101", though that could vary with tire type.
