Kioti vs Kubota Quality - No Empirical Evidence

My top and tilt cylinders leaked down years ago when I first put them on.
I replaced those cylinders with top/tilt cylinders that have the piloted check vale.
Never leaked down again, been on there for over 2 decades, never leak down.
Couldn’t those be added inline without replacing the cylinder?

I'm about an hour west of Asheville. More if I were to drive the tractor - LOL.
:)
Hope you escaped Helene with minimal damage. We had major damage here and is why I need a tractor larger than my BX. Got the house repaired but still have hundreds of trees down. Been having "fun" dealing with FEMA today.

In my case, the Kioti dealer was further away and had a fly by night appearing operation, while the Kubota dealer was long established with full service availability. I’m sure this varies by location.
Can't always judge a book by its cover. Kioti dealer here is a fairly small, family operation and doesn't make a great first impression driving by, but they've been in business for 30+ years and have a good rep. I don't have any experience with their service dept (mine's never needed any repairs I couldn't do myself), but they started out as a tractor repair outfit and expanded from there.
Always pleasant to deal with.

Mine are aftermarket. Maybe yours are factory quality?
Mine were installed by a Kubota dealer. I assumed they are factory quality, but I should probably look at them to see.

In this context, L3800 remote valves, the words factory and quality don't go together. At all.

It was those crappy valves that made me join this forum, and I intended to vent about the subject. Much like I intended to get an aftermarket setup to replace them with.

So instead of whining about them then, I'm still whining about them (to myself) every time I use that tractor. Now those pilot valves mentioned by ptsg are looking quite appealing.
