Any a regular Stabil user that includes the two stroke mix?

My weed whackers hang on the wall all winter.
Some of the chain saws get infrequent use. The back pack blower really only gets used "seasonally", Though I did try it on a fluffy snow last year with impressive results.

A put Stabil in all the full fuel tanks on mower, splitter, and even the old Fordson E27n.

I've splashed a bit in the two stroke mix can off and on, But I'm thinking to make it a regulare thing.

What he said, I know Echo oil has stabilizer in it or at least it did last time I checked which I'll have to do now :) . I use stabilizer in all my gas powered equipment.
Just checked, it does:

My VPracing has it in it already.

Running Efree dont even worry about it on OPE.

Stabil really dont help on ethanol gas either.

May want to check the oil mix bottle. Some 2 stroke mix oils already contain a fuel stabilizer
It seems that all the name-brand 2-stroke oils have it, these days.

But the bigger issue is... who's storing 2-stroke mix long enough for that to matter? Most 2-stroke engines require a pretty high minimum octane, and octane diminishes with days on the shelf in an unconditioned shed. Never buy/mix more than you can use in a couple of weeks!

I go thru maybe 25 gallons of 2 stroke per year, but still mix it in two little 1-gallon cans. As soon as one gets below 30% full, or if I know I have a lot of work coming up a particular weekend, I throw the other in the trunk of my car to be filled next time I'm passing a station. Leapfrogging two 1-gallon cans beats one 2-gallon can, for 2-stroke.

I always just put an ounce or so in each 5 gal jug when I fill them unless I know I'm going to be using it up fast (like mowing every week in the spring). I also always make sure there is some in each jug of 2cycle mix because I never really know how fast I'm going to use it up.

You guys thinking that stabil or stabilizer works on ethanol fuels. Better watch this.

I have seen this crap first hand myself.

No Stabil, but I do put a splash of Startron and 1 ounce of Seafoam per gallon in all air cooled engines. 2 stroke mix is only 89 or 90 octane non-ethanol, 4 stroke is just 87 ethanol. Never have problem with carbs gunked up. 1 gallon of 2 stroke mix will last me maybe 6- 7 months, no issues with some of my saws not being cranked for maybe a year. Only use Echo Red Armour 2 stroke oil which I think is one of the better ones available. Seafoam and Startron may not be necessary but have had excellent results with this method and have no reason to stop.
