Today 63 till end of the year.
I hope I can retire by the time I am 63! Even though I also hope to be one of those guys that is busier in retirement than I was before retirement. I played a lot in my younger years (I call it my pre-tirement) and wasn't the smartest with investing/saving though so who knows. Regardless, welcome to the best part!!!Today 63 till end of the year.
Same here, sort of. I had such a long "to do" list when I retired, I STILL haven't caught up. Still working on projects around the property, etc., and haven't even started on any actual "hobby" type activities.Good advice. My "problem" is I have way too many interests.
That's similar to what my father in-law said. He did a lot of volunteer work taking people to the VA and such. But he also took up golf and fishing with his brother in-law and friends. Lived to 93.If like me other projects will occupy your time and within 8 - 10 months you will wonder how you had time to work.
