No standing water in low spots on the lawn, so it should dry up fairly quickly with a little sun and the breeze.

Ten 10' sticks of 1/2" rebar cut in half @ 45 degree angle for cage stakes.

Checked on post holes, looks like they stayed sealed up so should be reasonably dry.

Warm out in the sun.

Think I'll go run the string line between the 2 corner posts and see if I can't get at least a couple of 4 x 4 line posts braced up and set, if not filled and tamped.

Probably need to fill the bird feeders as well.

56F few clouds here and there.
Much needed almost 1 1/2" rain fell :) sure could use 6"+. 🤞

Long but good day at work.
Afternoon plans were section leave control, between steady 10-15mph wind now and rain leaves almost double laying on the ground, hope the next couples days leaves will dry for blowing.
Plans for the evening yet to come up with anything  maybe deck to enjoy quick cigar.

Enjoy your evening all.

finished a nice day with friends here in Myrtle Beach. Started to shower and stopped with heavy rain coming tonight, one to two inches. Ok, just be stopped by tomorrow morning

nice lunch in a local marina overlooking some expensive large yachts
glad to hear we got an inch of rain at home
I need Popgadget to send me a picture of Zoe.
My friend's dog here is named Zoe also, 150 pounds of Mastador.
just the gentlest affectionate dog totally spoiled by her owners who have no kids but her.

Here’s how I start (and finish) fence staples. It will drive 2” 9ga staple as fast as you can pull the trigger.

Definitely the best fencing tool I have ever bought.
Dennis can attest to that.

Have that stapler too but pricey. It works really well. I used it because my shoulder was injured and it was easy to trigger. Hard to pull the staples out though
rswyan, I have a roll of high tensile fence wire if you are interested

That is so friggin' cool. All of my nailers and staplers come with an umbillical, tied to a compressor. Reliable, but hardly convenient.

Good (Thursday) morning. Overnight Low of 3.8C [wind chill] and it's presently 17.1C [wind chill]. Mostly overcast, high gusting wind with misty 'rain'. There was 0.2mm in the gauge @0900. This wind is beginning to get on my nerves but, as I've mentioned, this weather pattern happens every Spring & Autumn.

A productive day yesterday... although the Church gate repair (which wasn't the gate I thought it was) took three trips to the hardware store until I finally bought the correct length of bolt to finish the job. And a fun job to do with a howling wind complicating it. I also brought a spray can of lanolin IOT do all of the locks/hinges in the Church. I reckon that it's been years since any of that kind of maintenance has been done.

So, it looks like I'll be 'hunkered down' for a few more days.

That's about it, take care all.

Wow, what a hit I took, that seems just wrong to me Buppies 🥲
A lot of my posts are tractor related, can someone ask Muhammad about this ?

It looks like I only took a 'hit' of 1000 posts... perhaps mine are "Aussie" posts with some sort of exchange rate.

Scott, shotgun tanks are the worst for slop and slosh. The asphalt tanks I hauled had two baffles in each one. They still slopped and sloshed but not near as bad.

The Kioti is still in the shop. I'll stop in there on Friday and see how it is coming.

Looks like this Canuck took a huge hit on the post count.

If you look close you can see that there’s an adapter on it to use Makita 18v batteries, it’s the only 18v Milwaukee tool I’ve got.

BUT they are nice going across the scales hit the brakes a few times and the sloshing makes it tough to weigh correctly! :)
