Good morning!!!!

My feeding program must be causing some squirrels ability to cross road in front of my house. Lost 2 squirrels too cars in the last week.
All the more feed for the rest of them.;)

FWT, we WILL get more snow. Temperature here was 37°F today with some rain. It'll get colder again and we will get more fluffy white S**t, which I love but it is still s**t.
Same birds were here 2 days ago, happens every year.
They are so loud people could hear them on my conference calls.
Maybe the people on the other end of the conference call thought you had Hitchcocks' The Birds playing on the TV.

Quacks office called, wanted to talk about shingles. Told them I had a steel roof and had no need of shingles. That left her totally confused and I hung up.

Does any one of you computer gurus know how to take a screen shot off a you tube video on a windows machine?
I've got a picture I need to blow up, I think I know of someone in the pic but it is too small to see properly.

You just reminded me that I’m probably overdue for the second shingles shot. I think it’s supposed to be 2-6 weeks after the first?
It depends. Folks with immune issues may be advised to get the second 1-2 months after the first, but for most folks, the recommended spacing is 2-6months.

______

The day was spent unsuccessfully trying to get the FL70 toter smog checked, but at least I now understand what the bureaucratic barriers are. One choice item not previously disclosed was that the full engine specification label needs to be completely legible to even start the test. It would be nice to have been able to get that the information online before driving the truck 60 miles for testing. I will need to order a replacement label from the manufacturer. It turned out that there were other nuances as well, like most certified testers aren't certified to do the necessary testing.

Upside was and oil change and some nice new steer tires, and the major downside besides missing the smog check was that the air driven fan clutch locked up, which looks to be a four figure replacement, but I'm hoping somebody will be able to point me to a good source. A quick look around makes it seem as if Borg/Kysor quit making the item, and doesn't make/have replacement bearings or seals. The clutch may possibly rebuildable, but I won't know until it is off, so it has all the signs of being one of those time sinks. At least I am told, it can be done without having to pull the radiator.

I hadn't driven the truck for awhile, and I had forgotten how nicely it drives. Plus, it was a gorgeous day, and I managed to avoid traffic both ways.

All the best,

Peter

no idea why i'm up so early but so be it
fresh pot made, let Saturday begin. Or end for Wagtail.

was on my feet a lot yesterday and more leg cramps last night.
need to make myself a sandwich with lots of mustard, and drink more water

drained the water on rv, today will blow out lines and then pump the pink stuff through.
DC water pump has nice suction tube I just dunk into a gallon jug and then turn a lever, and turn on the pump and the
pink stuff does its thing. Until I see it come out, will probably need a second gallon. Not a lot of piping so really don't need much.
Then, unlike last winter, I take off the shower head so it doesn't freeze and burst into eight pieces. Plus I sure am going to take my bidet seat inside for the winter, unlikely to get all the water out of its pump

light rain out, doesn't look like it will amount to much but weekend appears to be wet.
more loads of wash to do
no dhobi faeries here

Ponytug/Peter, do you use your toter to pull a horse trailer or car trailer?
I had to look that up.

A toterhome is a specialized recreational vehicle (RV) built on a heavy-duty truck chassis, used for living and towing large trailers, such as horse or race car trailers. They are designed for individuals or teams who need a powerful and durable vehicle to transport their equipment and provide comfortable living quarters for long-distance travel, often associated with events like racing or equestrian competitions

looks like a super C motorhome toyhauler on steroids
