Shipping container as SCUT/CUT tractor barn

Welcome to the forum!

This is an 8 year old thread but one that is always interesting. Thanks for reviving it.

If you're talking about a Kubota L5030, you should be able to exit the cab if you get an 8' wide container. The inside measurement is around 7'- 8". I've had my wider L6060 in one on the dealer lot and it's doable if I drive it in front first and favor the right side as much as possible. The cab door won't open all the way, but enough to get in and out without difficulty.

Take some measurements on the 5030, including the interior height, (usually 7'-5") to be sure before buying a container.

Good luck!

I know my L4060 cab will not fit height wise in a standard 8' tall (exterior) container. On the positive side, it did force me to build a small 32x32ish pole barn!
If I were getting another shipping container it would definitely be a high cube with doors on both ends.

Doors on both ends are not a normal setup. High cube offers a lot more height clearance, but still need to check it before buying!

Not standard, but the company I got mine from years ago offered doors on both ends.

Keeping a tractor in a shipping bin is a good way to manage your weight... get too fat and you'll be stuck in there until you thin down a little :ROFLMAO:

With extremely obese people on TV that need the fire brigade to hoist them out of bed, i always think: If he/she cant walk, the person cant go to the fridge either, so someones gotta be feeding them this big !
