Good morning!!!!

Well it's afternoon again today before I get to this thread,
It's been an interesting morning my wife had a doctors appointment at 8 this morning so out the door at 7 to get to it. Had less then an inch of snow at that time, about 3 inches when we got back home, still snowing steady and about 4 inches now. Forecast is calling for about 2 more inches.
Her little sedan goes good in the snow the Equinox EV weighs around 5000 pounds and shod with good studded snows it behaves good.
With it being cold and snowing running the heat and wipers and lights we arrived at home with 46% battery leaving with 80% for a 50 mile round trip. So over a third of a "tank" of energy not impressive.
Waiting for the snow to stop before I plow, so maybe in the morning.
Her car may be interesting come Friday morning, I have a minor surgery Thursday so she will have to drive and the pickup is too big and clumsy for her in town. The forecast for that night is zero or possibly below so it will take a lot of heat.

Never took jet ski out in winter but bass boat yes striper fishing

Prayers for all silent or spoken
Now you know the reason I quit ice fishing. It took too long to cut the hole 16'x4' and trolling was real hard to do.

The snow squalls we were supposed to get today didn't happen. We went to North Bay anyway. The sun was shining there.
The northbound highway was slushy with wheel track bare sections. Stayed right at 65 mph and never ventured into the left lane at all. Streets in NB were snow covered to slushy as usual. Coming home the highway in NB was wet and after we got out of town and onto the highway proper it was dry., 70 mph all the way home. I used 1/4 bottle (under hood bottle) of windshield washer juice.

According to the weather map I use, South East of Lake Ontario is getting a good snow day.

Back when I went to school, the only closing I can remember was when Hurricane Hazel came through. I was in Grade 2. In public school I lived 1/2 mile from the school IF I cut through the fields (which I always did). High school was a different thing. I lived 6 miles from the school and seeing as I got kicked off the morning bus, I hitch hiked to school. Most of the time I thumbed home as well.
School busses in those days were privately owned in my neck of the woods. I got on the bus one morning and smelled cigarette smoke, so I lit up in the back of the bus. That is why I got booted off. I also gave the driver quite a bit of lip. His final words were "My bus, my rules" to which I gave him the bird.

Good day at work, did quick plowing with pickup honestly it waste of time and fuel but good puttering.
Day 3 no signs of bears visiting :( guess there starting the long winter nap.

Plans for the evening  can't think of anything interesting.

Enjoy your evening all.

only one side doesn't work, but you never know, it is sitting outside.

Do you have a bi-directional scanner?
You could command the actuators to move and see the feedback signal if the actually follow the command. I had a similar issue on the old RAV4, and it was broken linkage, determined by seeing the actuator position change in the scanner.
Of course that assumes stepper motors rather than pneumatic actuators, and separate dampers for left and right.
But plugging in to the OBD2 is easier than crawling under the dash.

Good (Wednesday) morning. Overnight Low of 10C and it's presently 21.8C, mostly clear with a steady wind.

Yesterday I did indeed get the house/DW mowed. I then nipped into the Chemist to get my first script of Ozempic as I figured that there'd be less people there so that I could get some instruction on using the injector.

Today is the 'official' "into town" day for groceries. Hopefully I can get at some more wood-stacking later on.

That's about it, take care all.
