I have a Kiot DK6010SE and use the Kioti DKA144 3rd function kit. This has agro style couplers. 3/8″ ISO 7241-A Style Male and Female Couplers to be precise. I was thinking of swapping these out for flat faced couplers since the agro style is a real PITA. Should I do this? What about on the rear remotes?

They are all a pita to some degree. IMO, you won’t gain anything but a lighter wallet unless you’re switching attachments between machines.

My thing is attaching the grapple on the front and the backhoe on the back. Always need to be using some type of cloth and a 'pressure applicator' to relieve the pressure so I can get the coupler seated. Not so worried about the couples at the loader. The loader rarely is taken off.

If this seems to be a constant issue for you, then get some Connect under-pressure couplers.
You only need them on the implement-attachment side. You can always relieve the pressure on the tractor side. ;)

Relieving pressure on attachment or tractor side? Me, I just use m/f couplers on tractor and on attachment then connect the attachment hoses together after unhooking.
Others use the Irwin Xboom q/c and others have modified different tools for the task.

I have both types….both suck. I tried going with the type that can attach under pressure, but after buying the clamp style attachment tool, its no big deal anymore. But the last flat faced parker set i bought set me back about $190.

IMO, flat face couplers are more hype than substance.

IMO, flat face couplers are more hype than substance.
I think the ONLY thing they do better is dribble and piddle less fluid. And maybe they support higher flow rates in larger sizes? I know I needed 3/4" rather than 1/2" FF on my excavator to be within the flow rate specs for the coupler..
