Here's one for all those who earn their living on Windows computers: Ever since, what... Win95?, we've been right-clicking on icons to open a context menu. That menu has always been the same, for various situations, to the point where you can automatically go to the option you need faster than you can even read thru the options, whether that be "Open With", "Send to", or "File Properties".
But starting in Win11, now we have this stupid dynamic context menu, which shows a different partial listing of these options, each time you right click on an icon. I suppose it's supposed to guess which menu items to hide versus show, based on what it expects you might be trying to accomplish. But at least in my case, it almost
never shows the option I'm hunting for. I almost always have to click "show more options" to get the full list, and then find the thing I need.
Moreover, because the list is different every time, I waste time reading thru each option and hunting for the one I need, rather than having muscle memory almost automatically find the right option much more quickly.
Turning this off is not simple, but it appears holding the left Shift key when you right-click on an icon brings up the old classic full context menu.
