No spring loaded collar on a B6200, its a pin with a cotter pin. Old school.

The drive shaft should slide back onto itself try some lube at the mid-point of overlap and gently tap near the pin while rotating the driveshaft.

Should be a pin you remove on tractor side, drive shaft will stay connected to deck. From the picture it appears the pin has already been removed?

I would take it apart and inspect before ordering the costly shoes, in my case I was able to disassemble, lube, clean and reassemble, while pad thickness was low(thin) it will last me several more years! Good luck!

A bad injector aside, I believe hard starting is the nature of the beast. As mentioned I have to glow mine on the warmest days too.

Find a shop that can rebuild injectors and see if they can rebuild them. Good luck!
